A Real Masterpiece

This is a parody of some of the pieces that have often made it to the front page. (Several examples can be seen in the all time most popular text based imagery.) Fortunately, although they haven't confirmed this, I think the $taff has started policing the front page for TOS violations, so more deserving works can be featured instead.

Funny thing: this poem is only true if someone else reposts it. But please don't, since it was harder than one might imagine to get the ABAB rhyme scheme and still have the lines sound natural.

P.S.

Due to some recent feedback I've received, I'll clarify; I'm not sure if the rhyme scheme counts as a traditional fixed form so I submitted to free verse. I hope that's okay.

Oh My God, that's about exactly what I have thought. It seems much like whoring a cool quote around only to get the 'likes' or favs in that case. Some would probably accuse me of jealousy, but honestly - for any fav I could possibly get, I don't want it to be from 'a stolen goddamn quote'! But hey, some people really like that. At least he got a great excuse - "I made those stickers for friends and they said I should post it on some website and since many people liked the original few I decided to post some more of these".
But why I'm really sad about it? This guy is from the same country as me -.-... It's really really really small country, counting only about 2mils of people. Some very good artists are from here, and also on dA; and then that happens. A god damn text gets shitload of favs, whereas all the masterpieces are hidden deep beneath... somewhere? Every now and then a piece from

<- they are really good - surfaces on the top page, that keeps me believing. And yes - I was quite disappointed, when I saw these stolen text on the frontpage. But I can't describe in words how I felt, when I saw it's my fellow citizen. Maybe sorrow with astonishment, bordering to despair...

Actually I see a lot of things on that page that took a hell of a lot of effort. Sure, there are some poking out here and there that are the black and white which obviously didn't take as much effort, but hell looking at this one in particular....[link] or [link]
